The Yorba Linda Heritage Museum, located in the historic Bryant Ranch House, opens Sunday.

The Museum, run by the Yorba Linda Historical Society, will give visitors a look into the city's past.

Each room in the museum will document a different period or aspect of the area's history, including when Native Americans walked the land, the Yorba family's settlement of the area and into the modern age.

Parts of Susanna Bixby-Bryant's famous botanical garden will be featured as well. Once construction of a nearby housing project is completed, a path to the adjacent historic Pomegranate Road and Cajon Canal will also be established.

The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9.a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. Visitors must call in advance, and there will be trained docents on hand to guide people and give historical information. Admission is $2 for adults 12 and older and $1 for children. Infants and toddlers are free.

To book a visit to the museum, call (714) 694-0235 and leave a message.
